After departing Edinburgh our first stop is at the Edradour Distillery, which is world renowned as the smallest traditional distillery in Scotland and arguably the most unique one. The Distillery stared its operation in 1825 and it is hidden in the very heart of Perthshire, this picturesque ‘little Model Village’ of Edradour is steeped in a history of intrigue to inspire the imagination. From here we will continue to the lovely village of Doune, where the Deanston Distillery is located. They started out as a cotton mill back in 1785 before being converted into a whiskey distillery. Our last stopover is at the Glengoyne Distillery which is believed was an illegal distillery in the early ninetieth century. Glengoyne is unique in producing Highland single malt whisky matured in the Lowlands.
Please note that distillery tours and tastings are all subject to availability, if a distillery is fully booked we will try to arrange a secondary distillery in its place. During peak periods it is best to book as far in advance as possible. There may be an additional charge for distillery tours and tastings paid to the distillery.
